Capture the complete rule line

Open table information and record blackjack payout, number of decks, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, double rules, split limits, resplitting aces and surrender. Save provider, table name and version.

Do not treat a familiar table label as proof of 3:2 blackjack. A 6:5 payout or restricted double rule changes the house edge and should be visible in the comparison before money is staked.

Match table limits to the session

Record minimum, maximum, side-bet minimum and currency. Confirm whether the displayed minimum applies per hand or across multiple seats and whether late betting or decision timeouts can repeat an unwanted wager.

Set a fixed session and loss limit below the table maximum. Side bets usually use different paytables and house edges, so keep them off unless their rules are understood separately.

Document disputed decisions

For a connection loss, incorrect action or settlement question, save game ID, round ID, seat, hand, stake, decision timer and account transaction. Ask for the server-side hand history.

Do not rely on a stream screenshot alone. Video can lag while the server record controls accepted bets and decisions. Pause the table until the case is reconciled.
